On the eve of the New Year, the makers of NTR30 made a surprise announcement that the regular shooting of this long-delayed pan-India film will commence in February. They released a striking poster featuring two weapons in two hands and also announced that the film will hit the screens on April 5th, 2024. This formal announcement has put an end to all speculations on the project which has been in talks for more than two years now. Koratala Siva took his time and worked on the script for nearly one year. NTR also waited patiently for this project and gave him complete freedom.
Despite the long delay and missing 2022 and 2023, both NTR and Koratala sealed a perfect release date for this highly anticipated film. April 2024 has a bunch of festivals in the first three weeks. Holidays on festivals like Ugadhi, Ramazan and Sree Rama Navami will give a lot of advantage for the film to draw massive crowds to theatres. There are as many as seven holidays in two weeks after April 5th. So, the film has a good chance to perform strongly at the ticket windows in the first two weeks which is sufficient to storm the box office. The Summer holidays give another advantage to the film.
NTR30 just needs positive word of mouth and decent reviews to capitalise on festivals and holidays. There are heavy expectations for this film. So, if Koratala manages to deliver minimum guarantee output, it will result in a box office storm in April 2024. The inclusion of Jahnavi Kapoor is another major contributing factor to the hype about the film. Anirudh Ravichander’s music is also carrying heavy expectations.
