The Andhra Pradesh government has implemented significant administrative changes, appointing new collectors for 12 districts. The collectors of Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, and Guntur—Mallikarjuna, Madhavi Latha, and Venugopal Reddy—have been instructed to report to the general administration department. Shagili Shanmohan has been appointed as the Kakinada district collector, and Bapatla Collector Ranjith Basha has been assigned to Kurnool district. Prakasam Collector Dinesh Kumar has been given the position of District Collector for Alluri Seetharama Raju.
Nagarani and Ambedkar, who were not included in the previous government, have also been appointed as collectors this time. Prasanthi has been appointed as the collector of East Godavari district. Women have been appointed as collectors for East and West Godavari, Eluru, NTR, Guntur, and Prakasam districts. On Saturday, Chief Secretary Neerab Kumar Prasad transferred 18 IAS officers across the state.
