Pan Indian Star Prabhas has teamed up with the director Maruthi to do a medium-budget movie amidst big projects he has been doing now. However, this movie which was supposed to be completed last year itself is still under production for reasons better known to the makers. In this regard, a reliable source from the sets of this movie revealed the current state of production.
After the release of ‘Radhe Syam’, Prabhas launched this project with Maruthi in a low-key manner and immediately started the production. Touted to be the official Telugu remake of Kannada hit ‘Raja Deluxe’, this is the first time Prabhas is acting in a horror thriller in his career. Prabhas attended the shooting whenever he got a gap between his other projects like ‘Salaar’ and ‘Adipurush’ but was unable to complete his part. Cut to the present, Maruthi who waited for the dates of Prabhas has decided to continue the shoot and finish it with the other actors first so that he can work with the hero whenever he has time. Also, the director made it mandatory not to give any updates and reveals until they complete the full project.
The movie is directed by Maruthi by adapting ‘Raja Deluxe’ into Telugu nativity by adding his trademark comedy and the makers are thinking to name the project ‘Royal’. If everything goes according to plan, then this movie will be out only in the Summer of 2024. Meanwhile, Prabhas will have two releases, ‘Salaar’ on the 28th of September and ‘Project-K’s first part for 2024’s Pongal.
