Senior Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre has highlighted the profound impact of the internet on global relationships and lifestyle, stating that offering advice to today’s younger generation has become almost futile. In a recent interview with a national media outlet, Bendre noted that with access to tools like Google and ChatGPT, young people often believe they already possess all the necessary knowledge.
Commenting on the rapid pace of change brought by technology, Bendre said, “In our time, a generational shift would take 20 to 25 years, but now it feels like it happens every three years. The internet has completely transformed how people live and connect.”
Speaking about modern perspectives on marriage and divorce, she emphasized the need for constant effort and mutual respect in sustaining a relationship. “Marriage should never be taken lightly. Both partners must work together, complementing each other’s strengths. It’s an equal partnership where responsibilities are shared based on individual abilities,” she said.
Bendre is currently engaged with professional commitments and co-hosts the reality show Pati, Patni Aur Panga alongside comedian Munawar Faruqui.
