Tollywood actor Manchu Vishnu is set to launch an extensive promotional campaign in the United States for his upcoming film Kannappa, directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and starring Preity Mukundan as the female lead. The film, which has completed its shooting, is scheduled for a worldwide release on June 27.
With Telugu cinema witnessing increasing popularity overseas, particularly in the US, Vishnu has planned a focused marketing strategy. Starting May 8, the team will kick off a series of promotional events and roadshows, beginning in New Jersey. Events are also lined up in Dallas, Los Angeles, and other major American cities to build momentum ahead of the release.
The actor plans to complete the US promotions within the first half of May, after which promotional activities will continue across India. A detailed schedule for the Indian campaign is expected following the US tour. Key cast members are also slated to participate in these events to amplify the film’s reach.
Kannappa boasts a star-studded lineup with Mohan Babu, Sarathkumar, Mukesh Rishi, Raghu Babu, and Brahmanandam playing important roles. The film also features guest appearances by Prabhas, Mohanlal, Kajal Aggarwal, and Akshay Kumar. Produced by Mohan Babu under AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory, Kannappa is based on a story and screenplay written by Vishnu himself. The film has been made with a substantial budget of approximately ₹100 crore.
