Actor Manchu Manoj has strongly condemned the attack on a restaurant near the educational institutions owned by Mohan Babu in Tirupati. Alleging that bouncers were responsible for the assault, he urged their immediate removal and stated that the restaurant owner fled the scene due to the attack. Manoj called on the authorities to take swift action.
Addressing the issue, he revealed that he had previously lodged complaints regarding the bouncers, following which the police had taken action. He stated that he received calls about the incident and accused the bouncers of creating an atmosphere of fear. He further alleged that CCTV footage of the altercation was taken away immediately.
Expressing concerns over repeated incidents, Manoj claimed that CCTV footage was being removed not only in this case but also in incidents related to his home in Hyderabad. He urged the local MLA to intervene and restore confidence among the public. Emphasizing that his father had established the educational institutions to serve society, he remarked that the current management of the institutions is well known to everyone.
Manoj stated that he was in Rayachoti for a film function when the attack occurred. He alleged that after learning about his presence in the region, certain individuals began targeting those who had informed him about the incident. He also criticized attempts to falsely implicate him and accused some of targeting his family, including his wife and children.
Clarifying that the issue was not a property dispute but a matter of self-respect, he reiterated that the campus functioned well under his father’s leadership but raised concerns about developments over the past three years.
“I urge for an end to this culture of intimidation. Vishnu and Vinay should take this matter seriously. Let us spread love, our approach will always be one of unity and family,” he stated.
