Malayalam superstar Mammootty has fully recovered and is ready to return to the sets of Patriot, director Mahesh Narayanan confirmed. The filmmaker expressed his delight over the actor’s recovery and noted that despite Mammootty’s months-long break, the shooting schedule of the film was not significantly affected.
Mammootty, along with Mohanlal and Fahadh Faasil, plays a pivotal role in the film. After the shoot commenced, Mammootty took a short break due to health concerns. The director recently provided an update, stating that the actor will rejoin the sets from October 1. “Even while resting, he remained constantly involved with the film. I shared daily shooting updates, and though he was not physically on location, he stayed engaged with the shoot,” he said.
Reports of Mammootty’s health issues surfaced in June, raising concerns among fans. His team quickly clarified that while he had experienced minor health problems, they were not serious. A close friend of the actor also reassured fans about his well-being.
