Mama Mascheendra Trailer : Uncle takes on his nephews

Versatile actor Sudheer Babu never shies away from attempting experimental subjects despite not getting the desired box office results. His upcoming film Mama Mascheendra is another brave attempt because it has him playing a triple role for the first time in his career.

The theatrical trailer of this interesting film is out now and it hints that the story is about an uncle and his two nephews with uncanny resemblance. It is packed with gripping suspense, simple fun, and intriguing drama surrounding the three characters.

DJ is a rockstar with a stylish look and Durga is an obese guy who lives life to the fullest. Both of them are in deep love with Mrinalini and Eesha Rebba respectively. Twist in the tale arises when it is found that both girls are daughters of their uncle who had a chequered past. He is unable to come to terms with his nephews and harbours a revenge.

DJ and Durga are unaware of the consequences. But, their uncle hatches a plan to kill them, suspecting a malafide intention in their love. The strong reason behind the uncle’s revenge ploy seems to form the core narrative of this film.

Sudheer Babu pulls off contrasting shades with great panache. Eesha Rebba and Mrinalini are glamorous in their roles. Rajeev Kanakala and others are essaying significant roles.

Director Harsha Vardhan, who also played a sidekick to Sudheer Babu’s elder role, blended suspense and drama in a good proportion. The trailer manages to pique the curiosity of moviegoers because of its interesting set-up.

Chaitan Bharadwaj scored the music and Praveen Lakkaraju provided the background score. The film is slated for release on October 6th.
