Rebel Star Prabhas is giving importance to gangster dramas post Baahubali except for Radhe Syam and this element is making fans happy. His upcoming film ‘Salaar’ falls into the same category. During the production of ‘Salaar’, the movie’s antagonist Prithviraj Sukumaran being a director himself narrated a thrilling gangster drama to Prabhas and the latter immensely liked it. Known for his superhits like ‘Lucifer’, Sukumaran is a top-notch filmmaker apart from his acting and he can pull off stylish gangster thrillers like anything. To imagine such a project in their combination itself is exciting and movie lovers wish this project to be on the cards officially.
As of now, Prabhas is working on the regular shoot of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ under the direction of Nag Aswin and is on the verge of wrapping up the horror comedy entertainer with the director Maruthi. Before these movies, ‘Salaar’ will hit the theaters on 28th September 2023 across the world in different languages including an English cut version without any songs. Directed by Prashanth Neel, this movie is produced by Hombale Studios and Ravi Basur has scored the music. Movie lovers predict that this will have links with the ‘KGF’ verse.
