Hyderabad: Mild tension arose in Petbasheerabad on Saturday morning when individuals allegedly attempted to encroach on land owned by former Minister C. Malla Reddy. Local reports indicate that on Friday night, some people erected a fence using fiber boundary sheets on the land in Petbasheerabad. Upon discovering this, Malla Reddy, along with his relatives and party workers, arrived at the scene.
After a brief discussion with the local police, the Minister instructed his supporters to remove the fencing, which the police opposed. Malla Reddy argued with the police, claiming that rowdy elements had gathered to threaten them, yet the police were not taking action despite being informed. The police quickly dispatched additional forces to the area and brought the situation under control.
