Bollywood star Sunny Deol recently gained a roaring success with the action-packed thriller ‘Jaat,’ directed by Gopichand Malineni in his Bollywood debut movie. The film recently hit theaters on April 10, 2025, and continues its blockbuster run. Now, the team is all set to return with a sequel. Just a week after its grand release, the makers took everyone by surprise and announced the sequel to Jaat.
Today, the makers made this announcement and unveiled the film’s title, Jaat 2, through a new poster. The caption teased fans with the line, “Jaat is not resting after the blockbuster at the box office. He is on to a new mission. This time, the MASS FEAST will be bigger, bolder, and wilder.”
The first installment starred Regina Cassandra as the female lead, with an impressive cast including Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher, Ramya Krishnan, Jagapathi Babu, and a special appearance by Urvashi Rautela in an energetic dance number. Music was composed by SS Thaman.
Riding high on its impressive ₹65 crore collection in just a week, the film has a successful run in the north region and is expected to continue so. Gopichand Malineni will return as director and jointly produce with Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory, promising an even more intense action entertainer.
