Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu ventured into the multiplex business in 2018 by launching ‘AMB Cinemas’ in Gachibowli Hyderabad in association with Asian Group Narayandas. The lavish 7-screen multiplex with state-of-the-art facilities and posh decor is undoubtedly the biggest crowd-puller in Hyderabad right now because it provides an impeccable cinematic experience to moviegoers in all aspects.
While AMB Cinemas continues its dominance as it outshines all other malls in attracting crowds from all corners of the city during weekends, Mahesh Babu is planning to expand his theatre business in the coming days.
As per the latest reports in industry circles, Mahesh Babu and Asian Cinemas group are planning to set up another swanky and plushy multiplex with the same ‘AMB Cinemas’ brand. They will name it ‘AMB Classic’ this time.
It is heard that this 7-screen multiplex is going to come up in RTC Cross Roads where the iconic Sudharsan 70 MM was once housed during the 2000s. The theatre which closed due to operational issues in 2010 is set to be revamped completely to construct an extravagant complex featuring screens and a shopping mall.
AMB Classic will be built with splendid interiors and sleek designs in less than a year. There are reports that Mahesh is planning to expand his multiplex business to other cities as well.
On the work front, Mahesh Babu is currently busy with the pre-production activities of Rajamouli’s film.
