Dulquer Salmaan’s last release, King of Kotha, was a massive disappointment at the box office. Despite high expectations, the film’s content fell short, resulting in lackluster performance at the ticket windows. Dulquer’s next project is Lucky Bhaskar, directed by Venky Atluri. Originally shot in Telugu, the film will be released in multiple languages. The makers have recently announced its release date as September 27.
However, with Jr. NTR and Koratala Siva’s Devara now locking in September 27 for its release, the team behind Lucky Bhaskar is revisiting their release plans. They are now considering the Independence Day slot instead. Given the lineup of several Bollywood films scheduled for August 15, there’s a likelihood that Pushpa 2 will be pushed back. Lucky Bhaskarhas just about five days of filming left, and if all goes well, the film could potentially hit screens on August 15.
The first single from the film will be released on June 17, and fans are eager to see if the lyrical video will unveil the new release date. Meenakshi Chaudhary stars as the female lead in the movie. The recently launched teaser received a positive response from the audience. Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya are producing the film, with music composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar.
