South India Heartthrob Dulquer Salmaan teamed up with sensible Telugu filmmaker Venky Atluri for an interesting drama titled Lucky Baskhar. The film is primarily about an ordinary man’s incredible journey from being a bank employee to a parvenu under dramatic circumstances. Happening beauty Meenakshii Chaudhary is the female lead.
Dulquer completed 12 years as an actor today. On this occasion, the makers of Lucky Baskhar unveiled the first look poster and it has him as a bank cashier who seems very determined and purposeful in his cause. With a clean shave and vintage spectacles, Dulquer appears in a dapper look. Wearing formal attire, he walks through squandered 100 rupee notes all around. There are tall buildings and a big piece of a note in the backdrop with his image.
Director Venky Atluri sprung a surprise with his no-nonsense message-oriented drama ‘Sir’ starring Dhanush in the lead role. He seems to be coming up with another impactful story laced with a strong social message through Lucky Baskhar.
Sitara Entertainment banner is bankrolling the film and GV Prakash is scoring the soundtrack. The film will hit the screens in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.
