Lokesh slams Jagan Failed Both In public, personal Life, Advised To Act Responsibly

Monday, December 8, 2025

Alleging that the former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy failed in both public and personal life, IT and Education Minister Nara Lokesh advised him to act responsibly. He said it is wrong to expect decency from him, who stole the 10th papers at a young age. He lamented that Jagan has corrupted the education system.

He gave a strong counter to Jagan’s comments on the evaluation of 10th grade answer sheets accusing him of not daring enough to reveal the details of the 20 percent differences in the 10th answer sheets in 2022. Lokesh clarified that it has always been the practice of students to demand recounting and reverification when they feel that they have been wronged.

He said that 45,96,527 answer sheets were evaluated this year in the evaluation of the 10th grade answer sheets and only 11,175 answer sheets had differences in marks in recounting and reverification. He concluded that the evaluation was done with 99.75 percent accuracy. He reminded that human error was only 0.25 percent and action has also been taken against those responsible.

Lokesh pointed out  that in 2022, 41,694 answer sheets were applied for recounting and reverification, of which 8,235, or 20 percent, had differences in marks. In 2023, 61,887 answer sheets were applied for recounting and reverification, of which 10,987, or 18 percent, had differences in marks. He was angry that at least during the YSRCP regime, they did not dare to reveal these details.

Lokesh accused them of making baseless allegations that the conduct of the exams was not proper and that the papers were leaked. He asked whether Jagan had fixed the Group-1 question papers with guards at a private resort? He wondered what those who canceled mid-day meals and free textbooks for Inter students are talking now.

Lokesh was angry that those who guarded teachers in front of liquor shops when they were in power are still acting in a biased manner towards them. He deplored that 5 crores were spent for the IB implementation report but it was not implemented.

He expressed his anger that the YSRCP was only responsible for the complaints that it was implemented without teachers who taught TOEFL. He lamented that the Telugu Desam government has been saddled with a fee reimbursement arrears of Rs 4,500 crore and arrears of Rs 1,000 crore, ranging from eggs to chicks.
