Amaravati: TDP MP Galla Jayadev made an announcement today about his departure from politics. In connection with this decision, a gathering was arranged in Guntur to express gratitude to Galla Jayadev. The TDP national general secretary, Nara Lokesh, attended the event. During the gathering, Lokesh clarified that Galla Jayadev has chosen to take a temporary hiatus from politics, and the doors of TDP will always be open for him. He referred to Jayadev by his nickname and stated, “I am someone who stands by principles.”
Lokesh expressed sadness about Jayadev’s decision to step back from politics but assured that they will always miss him politically. Lokesh emphasized that Jayadev will continue to be a valuable resource for guidance on advancing the state. Addressing the audience, Galla Jayadev extended his gratitude to Chandrababu and Lokesh for providing him with a political platform. He explained that his initial goal in entering politics was to amplify the voices of the people. However, he faced challenges in confronting the central government and criticizing the state government due to business-related constraints.
