Superstar Rajinikanth’s next film, “Vettaiyan,” directed by TJ Gnanavel, is set to hit theaters this October. In addition, Rajinikanth has teamed up with acclaimed director Lokesh Kanagaraj for an action-packed film titled “Coolie,” which has already generated a lot of excitement with its title teaser.
Director Lokesh Kanagaraj just released the test look still for “Coolie” featuring Superstar Rajinikanth. The still, which shows Rajinikanth with a strikingly stylish rugged beard look, is quickly gaining traction on social media. Filming for the movie is set to start in July.
In “Coolie,” Rajinikanth takes on a grey-shaded role in a story set against the backdrop of gold smuggling. Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures is producing this mega-budget film, with Anirudh Ravichander composing the music.
