Yesterday, TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan conducted public meetings, namely Prajagalam and Varahi Vijayabheri, in Pedana and Machilipatnam of Krishna district, where they heavily criticized leaders from the YSRCP. Reacting to their remarks, former minister and current MLA of Machilipatnam, Perni Nani, expressed his views.
Nani condemned Chandrababu’s and Pawan’s comments, particularly highlighting Chandrababu’s age of 75 and characterizing his words as sinful. He emphasized that if his own son were to enter politics, he should prioritize serving the people and his community. Addressing the issue of GO 217, which has become a contentious issue for fishermen, Nani questioned the deceitful rhetoric surrounding it and criticized Chandrababu’s assertion regarding the historical development of Bandar during the British rule. He challenged Chandrababu’s leadership, questioning why developmental initiatives weren’t undertaken during his own tenure.
