Amaravati: YSRCP’s senior leader and MLA Parthasarathy is scheduled to meet TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu at his residence in Hyderabad this afternoon. There are reports that he intends to join the Telugu Desam Party and is eyeing either the Nuziveedu or Penamaluru constituencies in the combined Krishna district. Last Tuesday night, he convened a meeting with TDP leaders in Vijayawada.
Chandrababu Naidu is set to hold a public meeting named ‘Kadali Raa’ on the 18th of this month, and Parthasarathy is expected to formally join the TDP during this event. Expressing dissatisfaction with the YSRCP, he has distanced himself from the party in recent days, particularly due to lack of clarity on the Penamaluru ticket even after a meeting with CM Jagan. Consequently, TDP leaders approached him, and he seems inclined to align with the Telugu Desam Party.
