Amaravati: A significant number of YSRCP leaders and activists from Tanuku, Pedakurapadu, Gajapathinagaram, and Amalapuram constituencies have joined the TDP, welcomed by party chief Chandrababu Naidu with the symbolic yellow scarf. Naidu expressed that those with the intent to safeguard the state are choosing to align with the TDP.
Chandrababu Naidu commented on Jagan’s apparent realization of an inevitable defeat, stating that a person with a history of atrocities wouldn’t serve well as the Chief Minister. Reflecting on his own political journey, Naidu highlighted his 14-year tenure as Chief Minister and 28-year role as party president, emphasizing the respect and good name he brought to the state and the Telugu nation.
Critiquing the present government, Naidu remarked on the perceived anarchy that unfolded during their rule after securing a single chance to come to power. Expressing concern for the state’s situation, he asserted that sleepless nights were a consequence of contemplating the current state of affairs.
