Today, Kadapa Lok Sabha seat Congress candidate and AP PCC president YS Sharmila addressed a press conference in Kadapa, aiming to address the criticism and allegations leveled against her.

Responding to remarks made by Jagan Mohan Reddy regarding family differences stemming from her political ambitions, Sharmila directly questioned him, stating, “Who brought me into politics?” She recounted instances where she campaigned during the by-elections prompted by Jagan’s arrest and participated in various party activities, suggesting that her involvement was at his behest.

Sharmila highlighted her sacrifices, including enduring months of campaigning while neglecting personal commitments, and even resuming activities despite sustaining injuries. She refuted claims of harboring political ambitions or seeking monetary gains, emphasizing her loyalty to Jagan’s leadership.

Challenging Jagan to swear on the Bible they both believe in, Sharmila asserted her selflessness and commitment to the party, demanding evidence to support allegations of political ambition or financial motives.
