She led an election campaign in the Pulivendula constituency, where she addressed the crowd. Sharmila criticized Avinash Reddy, questioning whether he had advocated for the Kadapa steel plant during his time in office.
She alleged that instead of prioritizing the people’s needs, Avinash Reddy spent his time in Delhi dealing with legal matters. Sharmila further accused Avinash Reddy of being involved in the Viveka murder case, claiming that Jagan Mohan Reddy was shielding him from accountability.
