TDP MLA Raghurama Krishna Raju has announced that he will no longer speak personally about former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. At a press conference on Thursday morning, he explained, “He did what he had to do and went away. Now, people don’t care about that. People’s attention will be on us now. Will the new government keep its election promises? You will see how they are fulfilled. That is why we are focusing on implementing our promises.”

He emphasized that public attention should no longer be on Jagan or the YSRCP. Raju referred to the first meeting held after the election results, where party leader Chandrababu Naidu addressed the MLAs, saying, “People have not given us power, they have given us responsibility. That’s why we have made it clear to everyone that we should not carry out attacks. Those who have done wrong should be punished as per the law. That’s why I lodged a complaint with the police about the custodial attack on me.”

Raju highlighted that the hospital report confirmed he was subjected to custodial torture. “If I don’t seek justice for myself, I will lose faith that the common man will get justice,” he stated. Keeping this in mind, he lodged a complaint with the police, and an FIR is expected to be registered soon. He clarified that he had not spoken to anyone about the issue and had not lodged the complaint under anyone’s instructions.
