Amaravati: TDP leader Bonda Uma has said that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu conducted an election workshop with MLA and MP candidates in Vijayawada, during which an intelligence constable infiltrated the meeting. According to Uma, the constable identified himself as Vishweshwar Rao and claimed to have been sent by the IG. TDP MP candidate Kesineni Chinni alleged that evidence found on the constable’s phone suggests he was monitoring his movements and engaged in phone tapping.
The phone tapping, allegedly supervised by Intelligence DG Sitaramanjaneyulu, purportedly targets Chandrababu, Pawan Kalyan, and Purandeswari. Uma highlighted that when the previous Telangana government acquired the Pegasus software, AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy also obtained similar software. The constable’s presence at the TDP meeting, coupled with incriminating evidence on his phone, raises concerns. Uma questioned how CM Jagan would address the issue of phone tapping in light of these developments.
