TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu addressed a prajagalam meeting in Kollur, Vemuru constituency, Bapatla district. During his speech, he took aim at CM Jagan, accusing him of being someone who turns against those who vote for him. Chandrababu questioned whether the chief minister had ever stepped out of his house in the past five years or met with anyone. Chandrababu assured that his doors would always be open to the poor.
Acknowledging both rowdy elements and good individuals within YSRCP, Chandrababu urged the latter to join TDP, emphasizing the party’s rejection of rowdyism. He warned that if the chief minister were to attend meetings, all roads would be blocked and trees cut down. Chandrababu highlighted the consequences citizens might face if they didn’t participate in House activities, suggesting cuts in pensions and ration distribution.
Reflecting on recent visits to the Godavari districts with Pawan Kalyan, Chandrababu recounted overwhelming support from the public, especially amid past cyclones. He criticized the chief minister for mismanaging the aftermath of these natural disasters and accused him of abolishing crop insurance, neglecting farmers’ needs, and shedding insincere tears for them.
Chandrababu lamented the chief minister’s failure to complete vital projects like Polavaram and accused him of hindering progress. He claimed that under different leadership, Guntur district could have benefited from irrigation for three crops instead of two, citing the 72% completion of the Polavaram project as evidence of the government’s negligence.
