TDP leader and former MLA Bode Prasad emphasized his commitment to following the directives of their leader Chandrababu Naidu. He dismissed accusations of incompetence, attributing them to baseless slander. “I want to clarify that I have no affiliations with former minister Kodali Nani or Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi,” he asserted, even swearing by his children to emphasize his point.
Regarding recent incidents, Prasad mentioned concerns about attacks on TDP offices and Pattabhi, indicating potential political motives behind them. He questioned the logic of accusations against him, pointing out that if he had good relations with Nani and Vamsi, he wouldn’t deny it. He recalled reaching out to Vamsi when he faced adversity, questioning the necessity of spreading falsehoods to undermine him politically.
Prasad expressed his reliance on the party leadership’s decisions, confident in receiving a ticket for the upcoming elections. Reflecting on previous statements made in distress, he extended an apology to the high command if his words caused any misunderstanding. He speculated about the party’s assessment of potential candidates, acknowledging the ongoing survey to gauge alternatives.
