Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan participated in the Varahi Vijayabheri meeting in Tenali, extending support to Tenali Assembly candidate Nadendla Manohar and Guntur MP candidate Pemmasani Chandrasekhar. During the gathering, he launched a scathing attack on CM Jagan.
Pawan Kalyan criticized Jagan’s omnipresent image, noting it on people’s passbooks and even on boundary stones in fields, portraying an unyielding demeanor. He accused Jagan of harboring a sense of ownership over the state, warning that his downfall is imminent. Kalyan condemned Jagan’s perceived arrogance, likening him to autocratic leaders in history.
Drawing parallels with historic revolutions, Pawan Kalyan referenced Egypt’s Hosni Mubarak and Sri Lanka’s public outcry against their presidents. He warned that if not heeded, public discontent could escalate to the point where people might occupy the Tadepalli Palace.
He further crticised that educators in the revered teaching profession were tasked with guarding liquor shops, while those working in anganwadis and questioning the resolution of issues were subjected to violence. He alleged that Jagan, during his childhood, was involved in an incident where examination papers were tampered with at Sivashivani School.
