Anantapur: Nara Lokesh, the national general secretary of TDP, strongly criticized the ruling YSRCP at the Shankharavam Sabha in Uravakonda. He accused the YSRCP government of filing illegal cases against 26,000 BCs and claimed that 300 people were killed across the state under their regime. Additionally, he alleged that the government misappropriated Rs 25,000 crore meant for BCs.
“Once we are in power, we will provide Rs 4,000 per month to BCs aged 50 and above,” Nara Lokesh pledged. He further promised to allocate Rs 10,000 crore over five years for the self-employment of BCs and assured the enactment of a special protection law for them. The ‘Shankharavam’ meeting in Uravakonda witnessed a large gathering of TDP cadres and supporters.
