TDP’s Nara Lokesh conducted a series of Shankharavam meetings in Visakhapatnam, addressing the gathering at the Gajuwaka Shankharavam Sabha this afternoon. Responding to CM Jagan’s recent remarks, Lokesh emphasized the symbolic significance of household items, stating that the fan represents home comfort, the bicycle symbolizes common people’s livelihoods, and the glass reflects daily routines.
He criticized the administration’s failure to provide employment opportunities, attributing a rise in suicides to the dire economic situation. Lokesh further criticized the government’s policies, highlighting significant increases in utility charges and taxation, including allegations of imposing taxes on garbage collection. He accused government volunteers of spreading falsehoods to households.
