PM Modi Inaugurates NACIN Campus in Andhra Pradesh

Amaravati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new campus of the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes & Narcotics (NACIN) in Palasamudram, Andhra Pradesh. Describing NACIN as a premier training institute and future center for good governance, the Prime Minister credited tax reforms for improving the ease of doing business and boosting tax collection over the past nine years. Modi highlighted the government’s commitment to utilizing tax revenue for citizen welfare, particularly benefiting the weaker sections. He emphasized the fight against corruption and urged citizens to contribute to the vision of a Developed Nation by 2047.

During the event, Prime Minister Modi engaged with Officer Trainees from the Indian Revenue Service and the Royal Civil Service of Bhutan. The new 500-acre campus aligns with the goal of enhancing governance through Civil Service Capacity Building. NACIN will focus on training officials in Indirect Taxation and Narcotics Control Administration, leveraging advanced technologies like Augmented & Virtual Reality, Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence for capacity building.
