Amaravati: Kapu movement leader Mudragada Padmanabham recently joined the YSRCP in the presence of CM Jagan, but he didn’t take kindly to the criticism circulating about him on social media. “It’s disheartening to see the various posts being circulated against me,” he remarked sharply. Padmanabham clarified that his decision to enter politics wasn’t solely influenced by the Kapu community. He emphasized that he didn’t require anyone’s approval to step into the political arena.
“My entry into politics is a personal choice,” he asserted firmly. “I’m being given unsolicited political advice, which is highly inappropriate. I ventured into politics with the support and encouragement of the people from our Prathipadu constituency. Their support has been my driving force. Whether it’s advocating for Kapus or fighting for Dalits, I’ve always stood up for my community and its interests. It’s not about caste, but about serving my community. Amidst the multitude of comments circulating about me, some may aspire to be movie heroes, but I consider myself a hero in the realm of politics. I may not be a prominent figure, but I’m a committed advocate for my people,” Padmanabham declared assertively.
