Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy Resigns

Amaravati: Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy dealt a major blow to the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) by tendering his resignation from the party and stepping down as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA).

Ramakrishna Reddy formally submitted his resignation to P Satyanarayana Reddy, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly speaker, on Monday, citing personal reasons for his decision. Addressing the media, Ramakrishna Reddy expressed that he had been denied an MLA ticket twice during his tenure with the Congress party. He acknowledged Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for providing him the opportunity to serve as an MLA on two occasions.

“Soon, I will reveal the complete details surrounding my resignation from the YSRCP and as an MLA,” he added, hinting at forthcoming disclosures regarding the circumstances leading to his departure.
