Hyderabad: Minister Ponnam Prabhakar highlighted the government’s commitment to fulfilling election promises, with two guarantees already underway and more to follow. He emphasized the positive impact of the praja darbar introduction, addressing former ministers questioning the government and announcing plans to release detailed financial reports, termed white papers, for transparency in each department’s financial situation.
Reflecting on his personal journey from an NSUI worker to a minister, Ponnam criticized the BRS government for suppressing democratic Congress rule. He assured a receptive approach to people’s concerns and credited the implementation of two guarantees to the dedication of the Congress party and CM Revanth.
Minister Ponnam reassured that the Congress government would not be autocratic and pledged to discuss and address the grievances of auto drivers through consultations with various associations. Regarding the RTC merger, he stated that assets were kept separate, and dissolved associations would be invited for talks. Ponnam emphasized the importance of considering suggestions to ensure the RTC’s strength is preserved.
