Minister Komatireddy Venkatreddy questioned, “Did you file an 8,000-page chargesheet against BRS MLC Kavitha without any corruption?” He accused KTR of lashing out against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy out of frustration over Kavitha’s imprisonment, calling KTR’s remarks “disgusting.” Venkatreddy asked why KTR was attacking Revanth Reddy, speculating whether it was due to initiatives like free bus travel for women or the recruitment of 30,000 jobs.

During a press conference in Hyderabad on Thursday, Venkatreddy predicted that the BRS party would be shut down after the Lok Sabha election results. He claimed that after June 5, BRS workers would turn against their own leaders. Referencing the liquor policy case, he accused KCR’s family of looting the state’s wealth and extending their corruption to Delhi. He alleged that KCR avoids the assembly out of fear of Revanth Reddy and criticized KCR for leaving Telangana in debt after ten years of rule.

Venkatreddy also alleged that BRS offices were constructed in various districts without municipal permission and pointed out irregularities in the construction of the LB Nagar hospital site, which was built without an NOC despite regulations limiting government hospital buildings to 14 floors. He assured that promises would be fulfilled, mentioning that Rs 1,500 crore in compensation had been provided to farmers affected by summer hailstorms and that bonuses were promised for paddy farmers who supply rice to the poor, though not for the dhadda variety.
