Amaravati:Minister Botsa Satyanarayana conveyed positive developments for anganwadis, assuring the government’s responsiveness to their demands. He urged anganwadi workers to promptly resume their duties, emphasizing an immediate increase in their final settlement. Botsa Satyanarayana acknowledged the 11 demands presented by anganwadis, some linked to the Centre, and stated that decisions would be made upon receiving the Centre’s response.
He announced a 100% implementation of insurance for anganwadi workers and raised the retirement age from 60 to 62 years. Pending travel and dearness allowances from 2017 onwards would be granted. He pledged to streamline anganwadi apps, consolidating them into one or two platforms.
