LIVE : Komatireddy Venkat Reddy Takes Charge As Roads And Buildings Minister

Hyderabad: Assuming office, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy conducted special pujas in his chamber on the 5th floor of the Secretariat on Sunday morning. On this occasion, the newly appointed Minister officially assumed the role overseeing the Roads, Buildings, and Cinematography portfolio in Telangana, taking the initiative to sign pivotal files.

Expressing his thoughts, Komatireddy stated, “Upon assuming the ministerial role, I promptly signed nine files. My gratitude goes to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for entrusting me with the Roads and Buildings portfolio. Plans are underway for the construction of a new council hall within the assembly premises, a responsibility bestowed upon me by the chief minister. Additionally, I announce the removal of fencing in front of the Gandhi statue in the assembly, with beautification efforts set to commence.”

Providing insight into infrastructural developments, Komatireddy shared, “plans in motion for constructing four-lane roads in his constituency with an estimated cost of Rs 100 crore. Looking ahead, he disclosed his upcoming visit to Delhi, where he intends to request Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to designate 14 roads as national highways. Furthermore, Komatireddy highlighted the proposed six-lane road projects stretching from LB Nagar to Malkapuram and from Malkapuram to Suryapet.
