Hyderabad: BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha has accused Jharkhand MLAs of being relocated to Hyderabad at the expense of the Telangana government. Speaking to the media in Hyderabad on Saturday, she criticized Congress leaders for suggesting to invite Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in implementing the Rs 500 gas cylinder promise, questioning her capacity for such a role. Kavitha warned of protest actions, including flying black balloons, if Priyanka Gandhi Vadra were called upon.

Kavitha also slammed Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for his comments at a meeting in Indravelli, demanding an apology from the Congress party for the martyrs. She questioned the use of public funds for a government function in the morning and a party meeting in the evening in Indravelli. Criticizing the cost of these events, Kavitha highlighted the expenses of CM Revanth Reddy’s chartered flights to Delhi. She pointed out the contradiction in his convoy’s traffic jam in Hyderabad, despite his earlier statement about not needing one.

Accusing Revanth Reddy of inconsistency in meeting people and organizing ‘Praja Darbar,’ Kavitha labeled him a “U-turn CM.” She argued against the Congress party’s claims of decentralization, pointing to their alleged family rule in ticket distribution during assembly elections. Kavitha concluded by asserting that they would stand in the public domain after 100 days to hold the government accountable for its promises.
