Hyderabad: Former minister and Siddipet MLA Harish Rao demanded clarity from the Revanth Reddy-led government regarding when the Rythu Bandhu funds will be credited to the farmers’ accounts, expressing concern over the lack of transparency thus far. Speaking at the media point after the conclusion of the assembly session on Saturday, Harish Rao emphasized the commitment of his party to stand by the people, irrespective of whether they are in power or opposition.
Highlighting a promise made on December 9, after coming to power, Harish Rao recalled the commitment to provide Rs 15,000 as assistance to farmers. He pointed out that farmers are eagerly awaiting the government’s decision on this matter. Harish Rao also referenced statements made by Congress leaders during the election campaign about buying paddy with bonuses.
