Hyderabad: AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge commended the Telangana government’s performance, considering it a potential role model for the entire country. Kharge actively participated in a meeting of the Congress party’s booth-level agents held at LB Stadium in Hyderabad. Emphasizing the significance of booth-level workers, he acknowledged them as the backbone of the party and urged leaders and workers to dedicate themselves to the upcoming Parliamentary elections, with just two months remaining. Kharge called for unity among leaders at the block, booth, and state levels, stressing collective efforts for the party’s success.
In anticipation of the elections, Kharge cautioned about potential ED and CBI raids, urging everyone to work collaboratively to safeguard democracy. He advised against being swayed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statements, asserting that Modi lacks an understanding of the challenges faced by farmers, leading to increased unemployment nationwide. Kharge criticized the central government for accumulating debt and questioned whether PM Modi has fulfilled the promises he made. He highlighted Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ as a mission aimed at delivering justice to the people, contrasting it with Modi’s tendency to remember Pakistan, China, and God only during crises.
