Chief Minister Revanth Reddy addressed the lack of trust in KCR among the people of Khammam from the outset. He inaugurated the Indiramma housing scheme in Bhadrachalam, emphasizing its significance in uplifting the underprivileged. The scheme, initiated under the blessings of Bhadrachala Ramachandra, symbolizes the dignity of the downtrodden. Reddy stressed the importance of women’s ownership in ensuring household happiness, highlighting that Indiramma’s house pattas will be in women’s names.
Revanth Reddy accused KCR of deceiving the public for ten years with promises of double bedroom houses, exploiting the dreams of the poor for political gain. He pledged to provide housing for 4.5 lakh people and introduced initiatives such as free bus travel for women and subsidized gas cylinders. Challenging the BRS leaders who claim to have provided double bedroom houses, Reddy declared that he wouldn’t seek votes in villages where such houses were already distributed. He dared them to accept the challenge regarding the distribution of Indiramma’s houses.
