Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh Crime Investigation Department (AP CID) has issued notices to TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh for allegedly making threats in connection with the ‘Red Book.’ On Friday, CID officials approached the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) court, citing a violation of Section 41A of the CrPC.
Following their plea, the court instructed the CID to serve notices to Lokesh. Lokesh acknowledged the receipt of the notices by responding to the CID via WhatsApp. The ACB special court, handling the CID’s petition seeking Lokesh’s arrest, has scheduled the next hearing for January 9, 2024.
