TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu participated in the Prajagalam Sabha held at Markapuram in Prakasam district this evening. Addressing the gathering, he pledged to establish a new district with Markapuram as its center upon assuming power. He highlighted the developmental projects initiated during the TDP regime in Prakasam district, including the progress made towards the Ramayapatnam port, which stalled after the YSRCP government took office.
Expressing concern over the Asian pulp industry’s departure following the change in government, Chandrababu Naidu criticized the YSRCP for failing to uphold its promises and accused Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy of borrowing Rs 25,000 crore against liquor. He questioned the government’s commitment to abolishing the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) within a week, emphasizing the need for annual job calendars and the Mega District Selection Committee (DSC). Naidu assured that upon returning to power, his first action would be to sign off on the Mega DSC.
