Amaravati: The TDP-JanaSena coalition in Andhra Pradesh is intensifying its efforts as the assembly elections approach. A preliminary list of candidates has been prepared and is set to be officially unveiled tomorrow. Reports suggest that the decision to announce the list on Magha Purnima, considered an auspicious day, was made by leaders from both parties. Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan have engaged in multiple discussions regarding seat allocation, with an expected announcement of candidates for approximately 60 to 70 seats. Both parties have emphasized the availability of key leaders for the announcement.
Party members have been instructed to be present at the party office by 9 am, with the auspicious time for the list announcement set for 11:40 am. It is anticipated that candidates from both parties will be revealed for the specified number of seats. Sources indicate that the list will be jointly announced by Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan. However, discussions with the BJP for a potential alliance are ongoing, delaying the finalization of the complete candidate roster. The release of the initial list aims to boost morale among party members. Additionally, plans are in place for a joint public meeting in Tadepalligudem on February 28th to further galvanize support.
