Amaravati: Chandrababu, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has urged the state’s people to unite not just for the Telugu Desam and Jana Sena but for the future of the Telugu nation during the Sankranthi celebrations. He joined Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan in the Bhogi festivities at the capital village Mandadam, extending warm wishes for Bhogi, Sankranti, and Kanuma festivals to all. Addressing the gathering, he commended the relentless efforts of Amaravati’s farmers in fighting for the capital over the last five years, expressing hope for justice. Chandrababu highlighted the uncertainty the state faces under the YSRCP rule, emphasizing the unprecedented move of having three capitals, contrary to Jagan’s initial commitment to Amaravati.
Stressing that the responsibility to save Andhra Pradesh lies not only with him and Pawan Kalyan but with all the state’s people, Chandrababu called for a collective resolve during Sankranti. He pointed out that Andhra Pradesh citizens excel elsewhere globally but face challenges within the state. Chandrababu outlined the shared goal of TDP and Jana Sena to make the Telugu nation the world’s number one by 2047, asserting that this vision is achievable.
Addressing the police, he urged them to reconsider their actions and avoid tarnishing their reputation. Chandrababu sympathized with recent incidents involving the police and cautioned that a failure to change could result in public dissatisfaction in a democracy. He emphasized the need for the police to think about the future of their children and urged them to avoid bringing disrepute to their profession.
