TDP leader N. Chandrababu Naidu addressed a public gathering in Kovvur, East Godavari district. He praised Pawan Kalyan’s efforts to prevent the division of anti-incumbency votes, highlighting his commitment to serving the people. Naidu emphasized the BJP’s strength at the national level and highlighted the alliance between TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP in Andhra Pradesh to safeguard the state’s interests.
He mentioned BJP’s Purandeswari as the alliance candidate for Rajahmundry, with Jana Sena candidates contesting from Rajanagaram and Nidadavolu. Naidu clarified his stance on the volunteer system, questioning the propriety of using taxpayer funds to support political parties. He assured that while his party wouldn’t abolish the system if elected, volunteers should remain impartial in political matters, focusing solely on delivering government services to the public.
