Yesterday, the TDP and Jana Sena parties disclosed the allocation of assembly seats, totaling 118, within their alliance. Of these, 94 seats have been assigned to the TDP, while Jana Sena secured 24 seats. Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan stated their intention to reveal the remaining seat allocations upon the BJP’s collaboration with them. Daggubati Purandeswari, the BJP’s chief in AP, responded by affirming that the decision regarding alliances in the state rests with the BJP high command.
Purandeswari emphasized the party’s focus on strengthening its presence across all 175 assembly seats and 25 parliamentary constituencies until a formal alliance is confirmed, reiterating that discussions about seat distribution will be contingent on the BJP’s national leadership’s decision.
