Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy spoke at a preparatory meeting in Prakasam District Konakanametla, where he criticized opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu, warning that if Chandrababu were to return to power, welfare initiatives would cease. Jagan accused Chandrababu of trying to dismantle the schemes introduced by his government, alleging that Chandrababu’s actions led to the suspension of pension payments to the elderly. He labeled Chandrababu as a sadist, citing instances of alleged harassment and violence against those who supported Jagan’s administration.

Jagan emphasized the volunteer-driven initiatives under his government, criticizing Chandrababu’s opposition to the volunteer system. He questioned whether Chandrababu, who he portrayed as a victim, could be anything other than a sadist. Furthermore, Jagan challenged Chandrababu’s record as Chief Minister, asserting that his own administration has achieved significant milestones, including the establishment of village secretariats, expansion of healthcare schemes, and improvements in education, all of which occurred during his tenure.
