Vijayawada: Purandeswari, the Andhra Pradesh BJP president, responded to questions about alliances in the state during an event commemorating the death anniversary of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya in Vijayawada on Sunday. After paying floral tributes, she addressed the media, stating that decisions regarding alliances would be made by the BJP high command in accordance with the state’s circumstances.
Purandeswari emphasized that leaders such as Amit Shah, JP Nadda, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi would periodically assess the alliance situation. She mentioned ongoing evaluations by these leaders and hinted at a potential meeting between Amit Shah and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, contingent upon timing. Asserting clarity within the state BJP leadership and workers regarding alliances, Purandeswari highlighted the party’s focus on grassroots engagement, irrespective of political affiliations.
