Union Home Minister Amit Shah has urged BJP candidate Raghunandan Rao to secure a resounding victory in the Medak constituency. In Telangana, the BJP aims to clinch at least 12 Lok Sabha seats. Shah expressed unwavering confidence in the NDA’s ability to secure 400 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and advocated for Narendra Modi’s re-election as Prime Minister for the third term. He actively participated in a public gathering organized by the BJP’s Vishala Jana Sabha in Siddipet.
Addressing the audience, Amit Shah highlighted PM Modi’s relentless efforts towards the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya and his endeavors to integrate Kashmir firmly into India. He emphasized the importance of commemorating Telangana Liberation Day and criticized the previous BRS and Congress governments for allegedly avoiding its celebration due to fear of the Majlis party. Shah pledged to observe ‘Liberation Day’ on September 17 once the BJP assumes power.
He asserted the BJP’s track record of addressing national issues, citing the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir as an example. Shah criticized the perceived exploitation of Telangana’s resources for Delhi’s benefit and promised corruption-free governance in the state under Modi’s leadership for the third term. He concluded by asserting that comprehensive development in Telangana is only achievable through the BJP’s leadership.
