Legendary Kathak Dancer and Padma Vibhushan recipient Pandit Birju Maharaj passed away at his Delhi residence on late sunday. He passed away at the age of 83 due to health complications and had been on dialysis for some time. Pandit Birju Maharaja’s grand daughter Ragini, a kathak dancer herself, shared the unfortunate news.
